Welcome to “swanny”!
If you’ve been with us from the beginning, you might associate “the rustic swan” with our handcrafted furniture and custom home decor. As we gear up to celebrate our sixth year in business on May 20, 2026, we’re thrilled to announce our expansion into UV printing and laser engraving while still incorporating our love for woodworking. Who knew a pandemic hobby would lead us here? Talk about a plot twist!
We are twin sisters from Red Deer, Alberta—proof that two heads (and a lot of sawdust) are better than one! What started as a creative outlet during COVID has morphed into a full-fledged business that we take great pride in. As we evolve, we’ve rebranded to reflect our current and future goals. Our new name, “Swanny,” is not just a catchy title; it’s a heartfelt nod to our brother and late father’s nickname. It captures our family spirit and the essence of what we aim to convey in our work. Plus, it’s a daily reminder of our roots—kind of like that old family photo you can’t escape!
Growing up, we were sidekicks to our dad, tackling projects for family and friends. Those DIY projects taught us that hard work pays off, and that we can achieve anything we set our minds to (who says girls can’t handle power tools?). Our experience in blue-collar jobs throughout our 20s, mixed with our newfound passion for the laser printing industry, allows us to blend quality with creativity—ensuring each piece is uniquely yours.
We offer a wide range of custom woodworking, laser, and UV printed products, perfect for businesses, homes, weddings, special events, or for everyday use.
We want to thank everyone who has supported us over the last six years and we look forward to you getting to know us better as our rebrand continues to take flight. We hope you continue or enjoy joining us on this new and exciting chapter of life—new chapter, same cast!
